A red eft is a juvenile stage eastern newt. Walk mindfully in the forest after a rainstorm and you just may find one.
This needle felted red eft is made from 100% wool over a wire armature. Each tiny toe is wire wrapped with wool and finished with beeswax. It measures 5.25 inches long from nose to tail tip.
