Heather made the pig in the likeness of one at the Merck Forest and Farmland Center in Rupert, Vermont. It’s sweet face and constant vocalizations seemed to welcome visitors to it’s muddy home.
This pig is built over a wire armature and has a solid wool core. The hooves are wire wrapped with wool and secured with beeswax. The top coat fibers were chose for their coarse texture for added realism. The eyes and eyelashes are wool. Measures 8 inches long and 4 inches tall.
This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of young children and pets. Avoid display in direct sunlight.
