This winged needle felted pig hangs from fishing line and appears to float through the air. It is built over a wire armature and has a solid wool core. The soft pink top coat is plant-dyed Romney wool. The expressive eyes are also made of wool. The wings are beautiful silk sari ribbon and reflect the imperfections characteristic of this recycled fiber. Embroidery accents complete the wings. The individual hooves are wool and beeswax. The pig measures 9 inches long from snout to tail tip.
