The name “ermine” refers to the winter white coat of the stoat, a member of the weasel family. A fierce preditor for it’s size, the stoat feeds on rodents, birds, and their eggs.

This needle felted ermine is made from 100% wool and built over a wire armature. The toes are wire wrapped with wool and finished with beeswax to create tiny claws. It measures 11 inches from nose to tail tip and 4 inches at the head.
