This vintage wooden box from an antique store in New Hampshire features a free standing 100% wool needle felted barn owl and, in the corner, an accent of salt marsh grass from a nearby beach. The owl is made from a custom blend of wool and is built over a wire armature. The talons are wire individually wrapped with wool. It measures 4.75 inches tall and the box dimensions are 6 x 6x 2.5 inches and ready to hang on a wall or displayed on a flat surface. The owl is free standing and not fixed to the box so that it can be occasionally enjoyed by careful gentle hands or positioned facing the direction of best display.
