Fourteen needle felted eggs lay on a soft bed of cotswold locks and straw inside a vintage wire chicken-shaped egg basket. Each egg has a solid wool core (no styrofoam, ever!) and a top coat of fine wool of pale blue, green, yellow, salmon pink, and creamy white.
The basket, purchased from a Massachusetts antiques store, measures 12.5 inches long from beak to tail, 8.25 inches tall at the head, and 7.25 inches in the middle.
This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid display in direct sunlight.
